Hi, my name is Cristina, born and raised in the bay area, San Francisco CA.  Welcome to my website filled with my creativity and passion for sugar! I crave the "baking" therapy I receive when I'm in the moment of kneading the dough and sculpting with my hands. I especially love the feeling I get when the finished product is complete, that instant gratification is a plus! I always tell my family sculpting sugar is healing to my soul.
 

My passion for cake decorating began in 2003, when my youngest son turned 1 years old. We had the finding Nemo theme, I was curious so researched online how to make the shape of a fish out of a football cake pan. The following year I made a sponge bob cake for his 2nd Birthday and learned how to pipe with a star tip. Every year after I never could bring myself to buy a store​ cake again.
 

Once fondant became a big thing, I started watching YouTube tutorials and I became more eager to learn.  I made my first fondant covered cake for my eldest son's 13th birthday in 2010, it was a DJ turntable. I was so inspired with fondant but never had the time to play and create. It wasn’t until 2012 when my life changed drastically and the following year I became a stay-at-home mom. I began to bake cakes for my kids again, indulged in personalized cookies & other desserts, to find that passion again and so it hit me that this is my road to recovery. I posted all my creations on social media, it wasn't long until I became more confident to bake for my family and close friends which then turned into a successful business.  So here I am, still eager to learn more of the endless mystery of sugar artistry!
